Account & Data Deletion

We respect your privacy. In accordance with Google Play Data Safety policies, you can easily request complete deletion of your Raksha account and associated personal data.

Direct in-app deletion option:

  1. Open the Raksha App on your device.
  2. Navigate to Menu / Profile > Settings > Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm your passcode/OTP.

Data that will be deleted

  • User profile, name, avatar, bio
  • Registered phone number and email
  • Posts, stories, photos, and videos
  • Comments, likes, and interactions
  • Chat history and media messages
  • App preferences and settings

Data retained (policy/legal)

  • Transaction & payment records (as required by tax/financial regulations, up to 180 days)
  • Fraud prevention logs and audit security logs (purged within 90 days)

Step 3: Permanent Purge
All personal records, posts, media files, and messages are permanently destroyed from our production databases and backup servers.

Frequently Asked Questions & Policy Details

How long does it take for data to be deleted?
Upon receiving and verifying your request, your account is immediately deactivated and hidden from the public. Full data purging from our primary servers takes up to 30 calendar days. Backups are rotated and purged within standard operational cycles (maximum 90 days).
Can I cancel my deletion request?
Yes. If you submitted the request by mistake or changed your mind, you can contact our support team at support@ameyasmarttechnologies.com within 30 days of submission, providing your Request Tracking ID.
Can I request deletion directly within the mobile app?
Yes, you can also delete your account instantly from within the Raksha App by navigating to Menu > Settings > Account > Delete Account.
